Funding to Restore Metcalfe Cenotaphs

NVOC member Doug Brunton explains a story to MP Poilievre and Minister Blaney about the Boyd Brothers from Vernon who died in the Second War World.
The Honourable Steven Blaney, Minister of Veterans Affairs, and Pierre Poilievre, Member of Parliament for Nepean–Carleton, today announced a contribution of up to $3,000 to restore the Metcalfe Cenotaphs. The two cenotaphs are located side-by-side. One commemorates those who served in the First World War and the other, those who served in the Second World War.
