Encounters with Canada Vimy Day Observance

The Vimy Foundation will be subsidizing a week of Encounters with Canada at the Terry Fox Canadian Youth Centre from 1-7 April 2012. Approximately 130 high school students, aged 14-17 from across Canada, will gather at the Centre and activities will focus on the 95th Anniversary of the Battle of Vimy Ridge. On Thursday, 5 April, the Centre will hold a small ceremony at the National War Memorial from 9:30 a.m. to approximately 11:00 a.m., and would greatly appreciate the presence of as many Veterans as possible.
